Every IncubatorPro machine is fully automatic: it turns the eggs, holds the temperature and controls humidity on its own. You load the eggs, fill the water and check the display.

An automatic egg incubator does the three jobs a broody hen does, without you standing over it:
These features come standard on every size, from the 360-egg model to the 20,000-egg hatchery machine.
A manual or semi-automatic incubator leaves the turning, and often the humidity, to you. That means turning every egg three to five times a day for 18 days and keeping notes so you do not lose count. Miss turns and the hatch rate drops. With a self-turning egg incubator the machine never forgets, which is why farmers who sell chicks buy automatic machines. Read the full comparison: manual vs automatic incubator.
Choose the size you can fill with fertile eggs every batch:
Use our incubator size guide if you are unsure, or see commercial incubators for the larger machines.
Automatic does not mean hands-off for 21 days. You still set good fertile eggs, top up the water, candle the eggs around day 7 and day 14, and switch the machine to hatching settings (turning off, humidity up) for the last three days. Our step-by-step incubator guide covers each of these, and setup training comes with every machine.
Yes. Every IncubatorPro model has automatic egg turning, digital temperature control and built-in humidity control as standard.
Our automatic incubators start at R8,500 for the 360-egg model. The full price list, up to the 20,000-egg hatchery machine, is on this page.
Yes. Stop turning for the last three days (from day 18 for chicken eggs) so the chicks can get into position to hatch. We show you how during setup training.
Yes. The same machines hatch chicken, duck, quail, guinea fowl and turkey eggs. The number of eggs per batch changes with egg size.
