Who a small incubator is for

A small incubator suits you if you hatch your own replacement layers, breed indigenous chickens, or sell a few hundred day-old chicks a month to neighbours and local farmers. It is also the best way to learn hatching before you invest in a bigger machine.

360 or 720 eggs?

The 360-egg incubator (R8,500) is our best seller and the right choice if your eggs come from your own flock. The 720-egg incubator (R13,000) makes sense if you buy fertile eggs in or run a larger breeding flock. Both have the same automatic turning and digital controls as our commercial machines.

Small does not mean basic

Many small incubators for sale online turn eggs by hand or use a simple dial thermostat. Ours do not: turning is automatic and temperature and humidity are controlled digitally, so a small batch gets the same care as a hatchery batch.
